Background: Kakuzu is the self-proclaimed, Treasurer of Akatsuki. He is in love with money and gets very inspired in carrying out mission if money is involved.

The Deal with him: This guy has a lot of hearts, five of them to be exact, none of which have any space for emotions. They are mere tool in extending Kakuzu's life. His real ability lies in the dark grey threads woven on his body. He uses this to pluck out his opponent's heart and make it his own. These threads also help him to detach and attach any of his body parts while fighting or stitch up his injured teammates. 

His hearts can also act independently. Kakuzu wraps them in his thread and had them grow limbs and masks. They can fight alongside him and blast elemental chakra from their mouths. 

He's a very good combatant who is flexible enough to fight in any ranges. Yet, he stays in the sideline most of the time and lets his partner Hidan fight. He only steps in when Hidan is asking for help already.
