He is paired up with Itachi Uchiha to capture the nine-tailed beast. The Deal with him: Kisame's main nature type is water and has several powerful techniques of water-based jutsu. He is originally from a group called Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, in which he is believed to be the strongest. He carries a big blade he named, Samehada which he can yield with ease due to his huge chakra reserve. He likes fighting but is often restrained by Itachi's unwillingness to resort to battle. That's why he considered his opponents very fortunate whenever Itachi agreed to fight. He is sadistic in fighting and likes to mutilate his opponents. Whether it is genetic or because of his water element jutsu, his appearance strongly resembles a shark with his blue-ish skin tone, gill-like cheekbones, small white eyes and pointy triangular teeth.
